SPCA

On 16 July 2026, a group of PIAS volunteers spent the afternoon at SPCA, helping clean cages and animal spaces. Ms YeeYee and her team walked the group through the daily care that goes into keeping each animal comfortable while it waits for a home, a routine PIAS gets to see up close as an SPCA member. It's the kind of work that's easy to underestimate until you've stood in the middle of it, seeing exactly what it takes to keep things running smoothly, day after day. One afternoon of cleaning cages won't change everything, but it made things a little better for the animals who were there. Small, steady effort like this is easy to underestimate, but it adds up, one afternoon at a time.
